An Underfunded, Misunderstood, Misadventure by the Coalition?
The focus of the EHC assessment is the child or young person as very much the individuals that they are, and the whole process should be full to bursting with their informed ideas, hopes and opinions. This is not disputed by all involved, but in too many cases it is lost sight of as precious school years are lost as families feel that they are forced to battle with a system knowing that too often it will be a fight they will lose.
